The Spaulding and Frost Cooperage was a white pine barrel cooperage located in Fremont, New Hampshire and the oldest cooperage in the United States. The cooperage was established in 1874 by Jonas Spaulding Jr., father of New Hampshire governors Huntley N. Spaulding and Rolland H. Spaulding. The cooperage remained in business until 1999, surviving two fires during its operation. On August 15, 1997, the cooperage ceased operations.
