Hello. I usually find myself on philosophy, mathematics and music pages. My Wikipedia watchlist is endless.
- I tend to move to different cities and countries a lot. Life is too long to live in one place, doing the same job and staying around the same people. My dream is to live in a different country each month but... visa limitations! So far, Ireland is where my heart belongs.
- I am in love with newfoundland dogs and the day I start living with one probably will be my happiest day.
- I am that annoying person who asks "how did that make you feel?" type of questions. I want to know everything about people I meet (e.g., what they feel, how they think, their gloomy and glorious stories... including embarrassing childhood memories. Well, especially those).
- I like being nonsense and doing things for no reason.
Interests and The Areas I Can Contribute
edit
- Art and science
- Contemporary art, expressionism, surrealism, dada
- Music: Mainly jazz and punk rock but I like anything that makes me feel something. A lot of oldies like Pink Floyd, Malvina Reynolds, Otis Redding, Supertramp.
- Interested in qualia, philosophy of mathematics and psychopathology. Lately I have been getting lost in computational neuroscience and working on a machine learning project.
- Stand in awe of some painters like Rufino Tamayo, Henri Matisse, Shiori Matsumoto, Pieter the Elder Bruegel.
- Admire some writers like Amy Hempel, August Strindberg, Don Delillo.
- Obsessed with Michelangelo Antonioni movies and love short films.
- My favorite opera is Der Fliegende Holländer and I promised myself to watch the Carmen Suite (ballet) for 8273727 times.
- Some plays like Miss Julie by August Strindberg, 'Düğün Şarkısı' by Civan Canova and 'Cage' by Mario Fratti have a special place in my heart.
- Danced for many years so anything dance-related makes me feel excited. Especially ballet and contemporary dance. Sylvie Guillem is my hero and I admire the works of Justin Peck.
- Comedy and absurdism. I like anything nonsense, silly and childlike.
