I'm Jim Hill.

I am a Professor of Physics at California State University, Dominguez Hills, involved in Particle Physics research and dabbling in Science education. For the 2011/12 and 2012/13 academic years, and also 15/16 & 16/17, I also served as chair of the university's Academic Senate. From Fall, 2017 through Fall, 2018, I assumed the role of interim Associate Vice-President for Faculty Affairs & Development. As of Spring semester of 2019, I am returning to the role of Professor and Chair in Physics. Before coming to Dominguez Hills, I was a research associate in the neutrino group within Stonybrook University's Physics department for roughly seven years including short term appointments with the JSPS and Tokyo University's ICRR. My main physics research for the last couple decades has been on Super-Kamiokande
