This is a catalogue of my self-professed mistakes. If you think I've left out a mistake, why not tell me? (I'll appreciate it!)

11 March 2024 Where is Kate? TheSpacebook (added by TSB) I created an article on the speculation surrounding the early 2024 health and public absence of Catherine, Princess of Wales. My nomination statement and subsequent comments in the popular third AfD explain my mistakes and learning journey. I became better acquainted with WP:NOTNEWS and WP:BLP.

Editorial mistakes edit

3 January 2024 Carla Ronci DYK Oltrepier Before this DYK nomination, I would often add as many citations as I could find to justify a claim in an article. After reading WP:CITATIONOVERKILL, I learned to limit myself to the two or three best possible citations for every claim.
9 January 2024 Aldo Oviglio Egeymi I expanded an article without providing an edit summary. My expansion was reverted by Egeymi. After discussion, I learned to provide edit summaries for my every edit, rather than assuming even simple expansions were self-explanatory.
10 February 2024 Several AusLondonder I tagged many stub-class articles with Use British English. I became better acquainted with WP:ENGVAR.

2 February 2024 Musica a Palazzo (AfD) n/a I !voted to merge, where the outcome was keep. I stand by my original recommendation, for which the closing statement accepted there may be some justification.
21 February 2024 Nat Turner (AfD) n/a I brought an article to AfD to recommend its draftification. If I come across an article in the NPP queue that should be draftified were it not for its age, letting it sit for a while to improve (or, indeed, actively help its improvement) is a better course of action than bringing it to AfD.
23 February 2024 Iron Horse Park Airdrie (AfD) n/a I !voted to merge, where the outcome was keep. I was too quick to analogise my editing experience to the article's, without considering other sources provided by editors.
25 February 2024 Forlivese dialect (AfD) n/a I nominated an article for AfD, where the outcome was merge. Articles aren't notable; topics are. If coverage rather than notability is an issue, then proposing a merge or redirect is a better course of action than bringing an article to AfD.
1 March 2024 Tristan Tate (2nd AfD) n/a I !voted (procedural) keep, where the outcome was delete. For the argument I was taking, which acknowledged scope for a merge or redirect, I should have recommended a speedy close rather than keep. In any case, the complicated history of the nomination blinded me to the convincing arguments for deletion.
22 March 2024 Where is Kate? (2nd AfD) TheSpacebook I helped to nominate an article for deletion while a deletion review into an earlier AfD was ongoing. I learned to wait, rather than rush to fix mistakes and let emotion rule over policy and process.
