As a DVD producer at the Criterion Collection, I have found Wikipedia to be a remarkable resource when researching films (as, of course, it is on so many subjects). That being said, I have noticed that some of the most important films and filmmakers have Stub class pages, or at least their pages have problems. I am hoping to help out by improving film-related pages where I can. Helpfully I have access to a large library of film-centric reference materials.
Obviously, given my professional position, I will have to be sensitive to COI concerns at all times. I've written this user page so that my activity on Wikipedia can be conducted in as transparent a fashion as possible. My goal here is to contribute to the usefulness of the resource I have myself used so much.
I do have several other interests and hobbies -- you may notice that my first edit was, somewhat randomly, an update to a soccer player's bio page. At some point I may peruse the Macintosh-related pages as well.
