My username reflects the common prefix of the anon IP addresses I always used for editing.

I prefer editing anonymously by IP, as I do not wish to have long-term commitments to Wikipedia.

But recently, I've encountered how IP editors often face negative assumptions, especially on controversial topics.[1] This seems to only ever be an issue with articles that are a bit controversial. People tend to look at any new IP editor negatively. Because of this, I have decided to make this account specifically for editing those articles from now on instead of anon IP editing, to help mitigate these assumptions.[2]
