Andrew Wykes (born April 28, 1960) is an English landscape painter, professor, and chair of the art department at Hamline University. He was born in Egham, Surrey, UK, attended university at Richmond upon Thames College before finishing his undergraduate degree at the University College for the Creative Arts at Epsom. He attended graduate school at American University, where he obtained his Masters of Fine Arts. His work has been featured in galleries such as the Bowery Gallery and the Groveland Gallery, and is featured in the documentary film Painting the Place Between[1].
Wykes is a Ballinglen Arts Foundation fellow. He has won the Minnesota State Board Artist Initiative Award three times. Wykes's work is featured in collections throughout the United States and Europe, including the Chertsey Museum in Surrey, the Minnesota Museum of American Art[2], the Les Tapies Arts & Architecture program, and the U.S. Bank Stadium's art collection[3].
