=== Carlo Rosselli in France
Carlo Rosselli was convalescing from phlebitis caught in the trenches in Spain when his brother Nello visited him from Italy at the Hotel Cordier, Bagnoles de l'Orne on 9th June, 1937. The brothers dropped Carlo's wife, Marion, off at the local station so she could return to Paris. They called in to do some shopping and have a bite to eat at nearby Allençon and were assassinated by French Cagoulards in the Bois de Couternes on their way back to Bagnoles.
