Dr Hussain Ahmed Piracha
Hussain Ahmed Piracha (Urdu: حسین احمد پراچہ, PhD) is a Pakistani Political Scientist, renowned columnist. T-V anchor and a Political analyst, noted For his work on Middle East, Islamic World, Pakistan and constitutional development and Politics. Hussain Ahmed Piracha Born: Sargodha, Punjab, Pakistan. Residence: Lahore, Pakistan Nationality: Pakistan Alma mater : Government College Sargodha, Punjab University, Cambridge University Known for: Work on the Arab League, Various work of Islamic World like, Palestine, Kashmir, Myanmar and national politics. He is currently serving as a visiting Professor of Politics in Mass Media department at the Punjab University. Previously he worked as associate Professor of Politics, Student Advisor and Provost Six Hostels at International Islamic University Islamabad. Year ago he concluded his assignment on director Public Relations and Publications. He also served Joint Editor in the biggest daily Urdu daily Jang and at present working as columnist and analyst in daily 92 newspaper and TV channel. He not only appears on television but had hosted a TV program previously on Waqt Pakistan channel at Islamabad for almost five years. Hussain Ahmed Piracha gained B.A with Economics, English Language & Literature and Arabic Language in 1968 from The Punjab University. He attended The Punjab University where he attained MA in Economics in 1970. He earned PhD in Political Science from The Punjab University in 1990. He did an extensive study on The Arab League to pursue his research work for his PhD Thesis he visited a number of Arab Countries other than Saudi Arabia where he served in Saudi ministry of Education for more than 10 years beginning from 1974.
