Bob St. John is an internationally recognized, award winning music engineer and mixer, whose work has included Duran Duran's Thank You and Medazzaland, Extreme's Pornograffiti, III Sides to Every Story, Waiting for the Punchline and Saudades De Rock, Missing Persons' Action Reaction, Collective Soul's Blender and Dosage, and Robert Palmer's Honey albums. He has won numerous Grammy, Billboard and Dove awards and nominations. Born in Milford, Massachusetts in 1961, Bob St. John always had an interest in music. By his high school years, he had rigged his own recording device and began recording friends and local bands in his basement. Between 1980 and 1983 Bob began pursuing a career in broadcasting, by attending Curry College (USA), where he was taking communication and liberal studies. But he felt in his heart that he really wanted was to be a recording engineer. In his third year, he decided to take a break from college to pursue audio engineering. His work has spanned the American, Latin and Latin Christian markets. He is best known for his mixing/engineering and production work in the American markets with Extreme, Collective Soul and Duran Duran album. In the Latin market he is known for his work with Bacilos, La Secta-All Star, and Black: Guayaba. In the Latin Christian market he is known for work with Julissa, Rene Gonzalez, Marcos Vidal and Roberto Orellana. Bob's work has been nominated for seven Grammy Awards, winning awards in 2007 for best Latin rock alternative album for his work on mixing Black: Guayaba's No Hay Espacio and a Latin Grammy award in 2002 for best Latin pop album for his work engineering and mixing Bacilos' Caraluna. He has also received a Latin Grammy for best pop album by a duo or group in 2003 for his work engineering and mixing Bacilos' Caraluna. Bob was nominated for five 2008 Billboard Latino awards, two nominations for his work mixing Julissa's 2007 CD Inolvidable, and three nominations for his work mixing Black: Guayaba's 2007 CD No Hay Espacio. He also received a nomination for a 2007 Dove award for his work mixing Julissa's El Ritmo de la Vida.
