I’m Holly Searle. My interests are technology, AI, machine learning, communications and marketing. Professionally, I am head of PR and communications at AI company Faculty.
Like any Web user, I rely on Wikipedia and am struck by the cooperative effort required to create and maintain such a huge amount of information. I’m interested in how AI technology might make this easier or more efficient in the future, although I’m aware of the big role that bots currently play.
As a communications professional, I realise my involvement in the community is necessarily limited under Wikipedia’s rules. I won’t be making edits to any Wikipedia entries, as I realise there are always real or potential problems with conflicts of interest. But I do intend to engage transparently with editors to make suggestions and ask for help when and where appropriate.
