Hi, I'm Charlotte, a junior at Georgetown University.

Wikipedia Articles edit

The articles that I will be focusing on during the course of this semester are regarding the health issues that arise due to athletics. In particular, I will examine the female athlete triad to portray the issues that can arise for women considering sports. Moreover, I will explore how men also can suffer from health issues due to the collegiate athletic environment.

Athlete Health Disorders

Female athlete triad - I will use this article to portray the eating disorders many female athletes develop due to the competitive atmosphere.

Social construction of gender difference

Health Issues in Youth Athletics - I would like to expand on this article, as it needs to focus on issues (both physical and mental) that can arise in both genders due to the sport setting.

Bibliography edit

These various sources will allow me to develop reliable evidence that will support the articles, Health Issues in Youth Athletics and Female athlete triad, which I will be researching over the course of the semester.
