My name is Jan Kolář and I live in Prague, Czechia. I studied biology at the Charles University in Prague and got a Ph.D. in plant biology in 2003. After spending several years in research, I gradually became interested in science outreach and academic public relations. Now I work at the Institute of Experimental Botany of the Czech Academy of Sciences as a public relation specialist.
