Game Localization Quality Assurance is called known as LQA or Localization QA. It targets any linguistic, visual, and functional issues in the translated games. Localization QA targets any linguistic, visual, and functional issues in the translated games.

Linguistic QA focuses on mistakes in-game scripts and voice-overs, such as spelling, grammar errors, and mistranslations. Typical language-related bugs can be grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes, numeric formats, metric and currency conversions, cultural references, etc.

Visual QA checks for any design-related issues, such as truncated characters, font, untranslated or partially translated content, UI/UX bugs, etc.

Functional QAtargets any art, graphic or engineering bugs to be fixed with a code change. It requires the tester has both localization background and programming knowledge.
