Ombahe primary school

Ombahe primary school is one of lower primary schools in Namibia, the school is situated in Tsandi Constituency of the Omusati region 8-9km From Outapi town.Ombahe Primary have grade 1 to grade 7.

The name "Ombahe"

The name Ombahe is an oshiwambo name which means a Girrafe. According to elders around the school, Mr Silvanus Ndjuluwa said the name was taken from a Giraffe because Giraffes used to graze in this area in the late 80's.

Founders of Ombahe primary school

Ombahe primary school was established in 1994 with the help of Government of Namibia and other society members willing to help kids from villages like Oshitoo, Ombogo,UUwandi etc., from walking a long distance to School like Ondukuta combined school 4-5 KM away from their vilages. Even though the current principal of Ombahe is Mr Steven Nehunga, the school was established by The late Mrs Kristophina Wilbard as a principal and some other minor teachers like Mr. Vilho Amutenya,Mrs Martha Kadhila, Mrs Saara Ndjuluwa and others.
