edit""Ekoka"" is a small village situated in Ohangwena region, it consist of about 4600 inhabitants. A combined school and 3 kindergardens. during the Liberation struggle South African troops and plan fighters have use thet village as a getaway when they are fighting. the headman of Ekoka village is also a Swapo war verteran.
education
editthere is only one combined school with electricity and water and 3 kinder-gardens. the school perform well as it produced well known business icons in ohangwena region like mr jonh haidika of onambango stores and political leaders such as deputy minister of youth Mr Pohamba Shifeta.
economic development
