<address>I wrote this article commenting on another article i read on Wikipedia by the title "<a title="Jew" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jew" target="_blank">jews</a> ".</address> <address> </address>why there is so much lies in the articles related to Jewish ??

for example in genetic studies section about the Jewish populations, it's clear that those who wrote it, were selecting a certain parts of studies and certain sources in very misleading ways.

like this one :-

"Other Y-chromosome findings show that the world's Jewish communities are closely related to Syrians and Palestinians."

and the source is Nebel, Almut (2000). "High-resolution Y chromosome haplotypes of Israeli and Palestinian Arabs reveal geographic substructure and substantial overlap with haplotypes of Jews". Human Genetics 107: 630. the is is misleading of facts and every one knows that nebel et al. 2001 corrected that Jews were found to be more closely related to the peoples north of the Fertile Crescent (Kurds, Turkish "Turks" of Anatolia, and Armenians) than to the Arabic-speakers of Israel/Palestinian and other neighboring now Arabic-speaking Levantines. (1),(2)

- (and i will explain that later in this article (00))

another misleading Selecting;

"A study published by the National Academy of Sciences found that "the paternal gene pools of Jewish communities from Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East descended from a common Middle Eastern ancestral population", and suggested that "most Jewish communities have remained relatively isolated from neighboring non-Jewish communities during and after the Diaspora". Researchers expressed surprise at the remarkable genetic uniformity they found among modern Jews, no matter where the diaspora has become dispersed around the world."

Hammer, Mf; Redd, Aj; Wood, Et; Bonner, Mr; Jarjanazi, H; Karafet, T; Santachiara-Benerecetti, S; Oppenheim, A; Jobling, Ma; Jenkins, T; Ostrer, H; Bonne-Tamir, B (Jun 2000).

another example :

"However, the Palestinian Arab clade includes two Arab modal haplotypes which are found at only very low frequency among Jews, reflecting divergence and/or (large scale) admixture from non-local populations to the Palestinians"

and the sources of course the old nebel et al ((2000)) not 2001 and Hammer (2000) like the majority of sources that article based In (2000), Whoever wrote that article i I'm sure that he didn't convey verbatim from the study, unfortunately i don't have copy of nebel 2000 .

Overall, this article clearly Says, and indirectly that's the Palestinians is mixed largely with non local populations and the jews is pure like this quote from Nebel (2000) "the Palestinian Arab clade includes two Arab modal haplotypes which are found at only very low frequency among Jews, reflecting divergence and/or large scale admixture from non-local populations to the Palestinians." followed by this quote from Hammer (2000) "Researchers expressed surprise at the remarkable genetic uniformity they found among modern Jews, no matter where the diaspora has become dispersed around the world." while its Opposite of the truth, because the Semitic Israeli Barely reaches 37% of total Israeli Jews populations and they are very close to Italians and Greek, they have Semitic blood as jews people , at the time the R haplogroup reaches more than 30% among all jews populations (Shen et al 2004)(3), and the result is very close to many European Countries like the Ashkenazim for example, genetically they are close related to the Italians , Greek people and even Germans more than to any population in the Levant like druze or Palestinians or the Bedouins.

<address>closest populations to Ashkenazi between some other populations are: Fst (lower numbers, closer relationship)*1. Italian 0.0040 (4)

</a>

(00) and in nebel et al 2001 not 2000 (Table 3 )both Ashkenazi Jews and Sephardic Jews share more haplotypes with kurds more than neither Palestinian or Bedouin or any of the Levant populations :

Proportions of Haplotypes (ht) and Chromosomes (ch) Shared by Po Pairs (1)

Ashkenazi Jews with Muslim kurds ht .263 ch .345 Ashkenazi Jewswith Palestinian Arabs ht .198 ch .225 Sephardic Jews with Muslim kurds ht .208 ch .289 Sephardic Jews with Palestinian Arabs ht .142 ch .198

and look at ((Table 4)) (1) Genetic Variance within and between Population Groups

  • a Ashkenazi, Sephardic, and Kurdish Jews.
  • b Palestinians, Jordanians, Syrians, Lebanese, and Bedouin.
  • c Muslim Kurds, Armenians, and Turks.
  • d Russians, Byelorussians, and Poles.

from where the Palestinian descend ??

"Ariella Oppenheim of Hebrew University in Jerusalem, who collaborated on the earlier study, focused on Arab and Jewish men. Her team examined the Y chromosomes of 119 Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jews and 143 Israeli and Palestinian Arabs. ((Many)) of the Jewish subjects were descended from ancestors who ((presumably)) originated in the Levant but dispersed throughout the world before returning to Israel in the past few generations; ((most)) of the Arab subjects could trace their ancestry to men who had lived in the region for centuries or longer."(5)

presumably originated in the Levant , i think its nothing but playing in words from the Israeli jews Hebrew university but they cant deny the fact that the Palestinian is descend from that region and they are the native , also like this quote from American Academy for the Advancement of Science "They were descendants of a core population that lived in the area since prehistoric times." (6)

There is no clue that the modern jews is descend from the Levant, but there is what confirms the opposite and all the Scientific evidence point that the jews is close to the Anatolian Caucasian and some European population more than to any of the Levant populations , not to mention the large amount of the typical European blood among all the Jewish populations or the large amount of the typical haplogroups and haplotypes from Hosts Countries among the various Jewish populations.

back to the pure jewish theory

most Jewish communities have remained relatively isolated from neighboring non-Jewish communities during and after the Diaspora" from Hammer 2000, but as always they pick what comes in the line of Zionist mentality :

in shen et al 2004 reconfirm some of the results, look at table 2 :

Moroccan Jews

"Moroccan Jews show a relatively high level of haplotype diversity (Table 2) and haplotype sharing(six shared haplotypes) with the other Israeli popula-

tions. However, the presence of haplogroup V sequences, which are rare or absent in populations from the MiddleEast, suggests that Moroccan Jews are related more closely to their Northwest African host population [Rando et al., 1998]." (shen et all 2004),(3).

The polish Ashkenazi

"haplogroup R appears at 10 to 30% in all israeli populations but the ethiopian jews and palestinines, its frequency is highest (30%) in our Ashkenazim of polish ancestry, two-thirds of whom belong to R1a, most commonly found in Eastern Europe {Semino et al.,2000}" (shen et al 2004)(3).

Yemenite Jews

"30% of Yemenite Jews belong to J1" (shen et al 2004) In the place where the highest proportion of j1 in the world (+70%) (3)

Levite Jewish example

(7) R1A among Ashkenazi Levite = 51.7% Sephardi Levite = 3.2%

result :

All this inconsistency between the statements and the scientific facts, so how come "Researchers expressed surprise at the remarkable genetic uniformity they found among modern Jews, no matter where the diaspora has become dispersed around the world." while the fact is that from one-third to half of all various Jewish populations carry's typical haplogroups and haplotyps from the hosts countries, and the whole Jewish populations is closer genetically to populations not from the Levant, finally i think if the future studies Supervised by Impartiality side, it will be more transparent by dealing well with the results.
