HafizWong is a Wikipedia username for a Malaysian who work in a company that supplying defence and public security technology to governments throughout South East Asia. Because of the nature of his work, HafizWong gain access to military bases, police headquarters and fire departments, thus enabled him to take pictures, or if not sketch or traced emblems and crest from the entrances, uniforms, information boards and murals.

HafizWong was born in a military family. HafizWong's grandfather serves in Straits Settlement Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve (now Royal Malaysian Navy) and fought the Japanese in World War II while his father serves in the Royal Malaysian Navy until 1991 as a Communication Engineer. Two of HafizWong's family members still in service, one is a Major in Malaysian Army while the other is a Superintendent in Royal Malaysian Police. As a patriot himself, HafizWong wish to serve in the Royal Malaysian Navy Reserve so he can share his knowledge and skills that he get while working in the defence industry and thus make him a third generation navy officer.

In 2016-2017, HafizWong re-edit and reorganised Malaysian military and government Wikipedia pages after finding up some of the images and information are outdated. After spending hours and days studying old military magazines, visiting military bases, reading articles related to Malaysian Armed Force and learning to use image-editing software from scratch in order to update the Wikipedia pages, HafizWong finally marked as a 'bad user' by Wikipedia Admins because of some silly new user mistakes. Because of this, HafizWong pull out all of the images that he ever created and uploaded thus no 'beginner mistakes' will occur.
Moderators edit
Wikipedia moderators really make HafizWong confused. Few of HafizWong images are deleted because of wrong input at the 'Author' sections since to his understanding, an author is 'a writer of a book, article, or report' whereas the image is from government page and HafizWong is just a person exporting the image to Wikipedia. The moderator marked the image for deletion as a sort of punishment for being a 'new user'. However, there is a nice moderator backing up HafizWong for doing silly beginner mistakes and demanding the image not to be deleted. The image however was deleted in August 2017.
In another case, a moderator asking for a link as a proof for decorations awarded to a person. The link already provided where there is a picture of the person wore the decorations during an official military gala night. The link is not enough for the moderator and as a response HafizWong uploaded a picture from the person webpage. The picture again was deleted for breaching violation.

Not all but a few of the moderators/admins are really an arse. Punishing for fake articles and doubtful information are fine, but punishing by tagging 'bad user' to a new user for a beginner mistake is really another level. It is not a surprise, there even a web forum discussing about this matter since 2009.[1]

Editing Wikipedia article takes a lot of study. The study is not only by reading but also by watching and listening hours of documentaries and interviews. By editing Wikipedia, not only you do it for free, but you also prone to retarded moderators and admins.
