This is a user subpage of Guyinblack25. Below are articles that I have significantly contributed to and/or pushed towards higher ratings, as well as Barnstars and compliments that I have received from other editors.
While I personally think that pages like this are largely not needed, they do help paint a picture of credibility on top of the ego boost they naturally provide. In a perfect world we wouldn't need credibility, but since this is neither a perfect world nor a perfect website, stuff like this does help give an editor more weight to their words and actions.
Because all the accomplishments in the world don't mean much if no one can say anything nice about you.
Final Fantasy X-2
Excellent work updating the article. It's very important to keep FAs in good condition. — Deckiller 03:50, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
Kingdom Hearts
I'd like to thank you for pumping good content into the Kingdom Hearts articles. It was pretty stagnant, mostly just reverting of bad edits, before you came along and pushed them into FA and GA status. Good job. ' 02:12, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
Kingdom Hearts Featured Topic...Wow
I can't believe it actually happened, these articles were a disaster, and now they are fantastic, the best of wikipedia. Congratulations. Judgesurreal777 03:37, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
List of KH media is a featured list now, too. Awesome work! Actually, with a bit of work, Music of KH might make FA. Then all we'll need is Characters of KH to GA to complete the FT. Axem Titanium 15:41, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
GA of KH Chars
I've gone ahead and done it. I think it should do fine; you've done a great job with it. Axem Titanium 01:41, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
Congratulations
On getting Characters of Kingdom Hearts to FA status. Such character articles are rarely brought up such a standard, and your effort is worthy of every praise. Cheers, Sephiroth BCR(Converse) 01:04, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
Re: Super Mario 64
Likewise. It's been a long time, but finally SM64 is back to FA status. Great work! The Prince (talk) 16:18, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
Thanks
Just a quick thanks for reviewing Warhawk(several times) and the pointers to fixing it up for GA. :) John.n-irl (talk) 02:03, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
From the Judge
By the way Guy, you are an awesome Wikipedian, and I love that you are helping whip the Video Games wikiproject into shape, but I hope at some point you will return to working on articles like you used to, because you were really awesome at it and turned whole topics from junk to gold. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 23:50, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
From El Comandante
Since you seem to be a "go-to" guy for some vg-related topics, I'd appreciate your thoughts on a small matter. -- Comandante {Talk} 21:00, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
Watch over my FLC?
Hey Black, thanks for reviewing List of Kirby media for me, I really appreciate it. -- Nomader(Talk) 23:00, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
Hey, thanks a bunch for watching over it a couple of days. It just passed FL and a lot of it's thanks to you. I really appreciate it. -- Nomader(Talk) 01:41, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
Marble Madness on main page
Congradulations! I really like that article and it is wonderful on the main page. (Sorry the picture isn't there also, though. It's beautiful.) —Mattisse (Talk) 00:15, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
FAC
FAC or not, SMB3 is much better thanks to you, and that makes it worth it. Belasted (talk) 02:35, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
Peer Review?
Hi Guy. I've been wondering around the Peer Review board lately and have noticed your informative reviews. I was wondering if you might consider reviewing an article of my own. Cheers, -- Noj r (talk) 06:56, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
Wow! I didn't expect such a detailed review of the article. I'll get on those suggestions soon; Ive been busy lately. Also, I agree with Belasted, FAC or not, I think the SMB3 article looks great. Cheers guy, -- Noj r (talk) 02:10, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
Talk:Elite_(video_game)
Would appreciate your neutral commentary at that page regarding a matter of a screnshot gallery some fans keep wanting to add. Figured this could use some explanation from a GA/FAC perspective as well. --Marty Goldberg (talk) 13:53, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
Cheers!
It's always a pleasure working with you, and I hope to again in the future if I stick around. -- Nomader(Talk) 05:13, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
For restlessly improving the articles of the Kingdom Hearts series and bringing them all to GA status. This hopefully paves the way for some featured articles and a featured topic. Keep it up! Kariteh 17:30, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

For your work on a vast array of Video Game articles and for your back-office maintenance of the project. Additionally, for realising that seeing as the project has a barnstar, using it might be a good idea. - X201 (talk) 20:11, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
For getting countless articles to GA/FA status, and for helping me out when I've been in a jam, I award you this barnstar. Better late than never, right? The Prince (talk) 22:22, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
The Original Barnstar
Since I've become more involved in Wikipedia, I've noticed your contributions to all parts of Wikipedia life. I've seen you settle edit wars, answer questions, mediate conflicts, find reliable references, guide newcomers, improve policies, guidelines and templates... and each and every time you were both thorough and fair. All that, and you still find time to advance articles towards FA-status. Even with your peer review of 4X, you didn't just help with copy-editing. You explained the importance of every single suggestion and taught me to be a better writer. I've been looking to give out my first barnstar, and with the hundreds of wikipedians I've crossed paths with I can't think of anybody more deserving. Cheers, Randomran (talk) 03:59, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
For nominating me for the triple crown winner's circle when I didn't even notice that I qualified, and just being one of the most honorable Wikipedians I've seen, I'm giving you this barnstar. Frankly, you deserve it. -- Nomader(Talk) 07:26, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

It's rare that I come across an editor that I truly believe is great at what he does, and it's even rarer that I have the pleasure of working with them so extensively. Of course, Guyinblack, this editor is without a doubt you. Whenever I see your comments in the WikiProject, I stop and read them– you almost always bring another dimension to a discussion that's simply impossible to ignore. Your article work is staggering, and anyone who can bring an article like Wii Sports and Final Fantasy up to Featured Article status despite the complaining and nitpicking of fanboys is a star in my book. You purport to be on a "Semi-Wikibreak", but yet you continue to be more active than me by a wide margin. But all of this isn't enough to for me to award you this barnstar: what is, on top of all the other things you've done for Wikipedia, is the fact that of everyone I've interacted here, you're one of the most pleasurable people I've ever met: the fact that you have seventeen (or, eighteen including this) barnstars would obviously attest to the fact that the community at large agrees with me. And so, for all your accomplishments and your stellar work ethic, I have to say, it's been a pleasure and cheers! -- Nomader(Talk) 05:13, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
