I am interested in MMOs, and computer and video games in general. I am particularly interested in MMO and virtual worlds game technology, and the directions and possibilities that are opening up with the convergence of online worlds, social networking, and games.
As I currently work for an MMO technology company, BigWorld, I have taken it upon myself to start a page on that company. I hope it meets the wikipedia criteria as I have done my best to keep it factual, and of neutral tone but I do recognise that because I'm currently working at this company it is not considered ideal.
I also hope to add to other wikipedia content relating to MMO and online world development as they are areas that I have knowledge in.
In particular, I am fortunate enough to participate in games development conferences such as GDC, AGDC, Virtual Worlds Conference, etc. and hope to be able to contribute some of that knowledge back into wikipedia.
I am a self-acknowledge wikipedia newbie, so am very appreciative of any corrections and edits that may help my contributions be most usefully presented. Although I have read the guidelines, I get the real sense of what is or is not appropriate, and how best to write that is both interesting to read (and not too dry) but at the same time neutral in tone will sink in over time.
