I hold many beliefs, but none more strongly than that actual material facts of any event should be available to the people as an archive with which they can improve their future decision making. Nothing is more important for our future than remembering our past accurately, even if we find it to be embarrassing or not convenient for our goals and beliefs. Even if it is not convenient to the ideology or goals of our nation.
