We are not going to add any links or change anything until we have communicated with Wikipedia about our intentions. This may take a couple of days because we want to make sure we understand the process and not risk any misunderstandings.
Please let Requestion know that no one connected with ResearchChannel will add any links until we have had an opportunity to introduce ourselves to the Wikipedia community; get feedback and approval from the Wikipedia community about the best way to share our resources; and come to a mutual understanding about the best way to achieve our shared goals.
Please extend our apologies to anyone who was offended. This is a new area for us. We thought we understood how to proceed and we were not sure who to contact. I really appreciate your understanding, patience and guidance.
I am Director of Production and Member Services and report to the Executive Director, Amy Philipson and I have the authority to guarantee that no more links or "spamming" will take place. Amy Philipson is copied on this message. Ander Tan, who is in charge of or Web pages and Laura Jackson work for me and have been instructed not to do anything until we have come to an understanding the Wikipedia community.
