Events since end of last season

edit

6/12/15: LB Clifton Garrett (2/4) to transfer from LSU
6/18/15: Anthony Jennings (QB, 3/4), Maquedius Bain (DE, 3/5) and Dwayne Thomas (DB, 4/5) were arrested by campus police for unauthorized entry of dwelling (Jennings and Bain) and simple burglary and unauthorized entry (Thomas). LSU suspended all three players. They entered the room of another student, according to the police report, after they thought the student stole Jennings' laptop.
6/18/15: Trey Lealaimatafao (DT, 2/5) was arrested for simple battery and simple assault after an altercation outside of a bar in Baton Rouge. Police allege that Lealaimatafao knocked an unnamed male unconscious and punched his girlfriend in the face during an altercation in a bar parking lot Tuesday. Last summer Lealaimatafao was arrested after stealing a bicycle, and was also involved in an incident where he punched out a window in the team's weight room following an altercation with another player. The damage required surgery to repair, which in part led to him redshirting.
6/30/15: LSU dismised Lealaimatafao from team.
8/3/15: Redshirt sophomore DE Maquedius "Quay" Bain announces transfer from LSU; played in 10 games in 2014; Miles said in April 2015 Bain is probable starter at DE; converted to DE from DT in 2015; 3 sacks in 2015 Spring Game
