Condylectomy is a surgical procedure that is often used in the field of Oral and maxillofacial surgery to treated Condylar hyperplasia or Temporomandibular joint dysfunction. It involves removing 3-4mm portion of bone from the top of the Mandibular condyle. The purpose of this procedure is to stop the growth of the condyle which eventually leads to worsening of an already existing Facial Asymmetry.[1]
