Oladapo Ojo also known as “DO” born in January 10, 1971, is a Nigeria serial entrepreneur, with interest in content creation and media.

Biography edit

Oladapo Ojo, widely known as DO, entered the marketing communications field in 1992, expressing a specific interest in TV production. Since then, he has been actively involved in the creation, production, and direction of diverse projects, including "PZ Your Choice," "StyleQuest" makeover show, and "Bacchus Luventure" dating TV and radio shows. Noteworthy contributions encompass documentaries and TV commercials for entities such as Johns Hopkins University (JHU), Nigeria Distillers Limited (NDL), National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA), and many other radio programs.

In 2004, DO founded DM Audiovisuals with the primary objective of leveraging audiovisual content to meet the marketing communication needs of companies. Under his leadership, DM Audiovisuals undertook projects like the "HOUSE4 Talent Hunt" reality show, "Guinness Friend or Foe," "GSK’s Lucozade Boost Freestyle," and "Nestle GoldMorn Rockazz." Subsequently, he established DM Holdings [1], a holding company with subsidiaries that collectively form a comprehensive content and broadcast entity. These subsidiaries encompass media marketing and buying, content generation and production, as well as studio and broadcast equipment leasing.

DM Holdings has successfully developed and broadcasted edutainment TV shows across Africa, including the CowbellPedia secondary school mathematics TV quiz show; InterswitchSPAK National Science Competition, in Nigeria & Kenya; SingtheSong a music game show [2], Champ inter-school national quiz contest, WordSmith National English Language Contest,[3] and Ongacious[4], a lifestyle and family culinary show. His interest in storytelling has also led to the conceptualization and production of several drama series and movies such as Emerald[5][6][7], Unayi (the Police Station & Health Centre)[8], ThirtyMinutes[9], Swing, Trulis and Tousled.

Career: Information Technology edit

In 2020, DO started CruxDeals[10]- a technology company with its flagship Online Learning App called- Cruxlearning[11], before diversifying and creating other products and some other TV quiz shows for the brand.[12] Over the past three years, CruxDeals has forged a working relationship with some organizations including Interswitch, in providing solutions around education, and lifestyle.

Oladapo Ojo holds an MBA (Finance major) from the Ogun State University, Ago Iwoye (1997): with a first degree in Banking and Finance. He is also an Alumnus of Pan Africa University- Lagos Business School (OMP2, 2003) DO is a registered associate member of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON); Institute of Bankers, South Africa (IOBSA); South Africa Institute of Management (SAIM); Institute of Risk Management South Africa (RMISA) amongst others
