This is the street that is situated in Katutura,Windhoek in Khomas Region,Samora Machel constituency.many people like to go spend their time at this location as there are bars and many people selling in the street example cooked meat.this is the informal areas. every thing on eveline street comes big,the cloud, the patrons, cars washes and not to be outdone crime.there are approximately 63 bars and shebeens,some dirty and some neat competing of an aspect.but in this 63 shebeen only 6 legally register while the rest is operating illegally. there is always loud music and lot of noise, braai stands and different types of beers,imported and local.this street is less than 3km.there is also a higher crime rate in this street. as it reported that several people lose their life in it.the residency in that area are living in fear as and scared to walk in this street after night time despite the fact that dozen will be all over the street drinking and any body who will be found there would become a victim.[1].[2].

Higher crime in Eveline street is contributed to alcoholism and this usually happen night time becouse late hours are the best for criminals,this lead one of the suspect ending up in court cause of theft that was in October2012.[3].[4]. Eveline street is also polluted full of littering as people don't have time to clean the surrounding of their shebeen becouse they normally don't get time as their are opening till very late and even on sundays and public holiday. As we say where there is populated people is where crime usually occurs as this reminding of us of one man who was shot dead in Katutura, Eveline street Windhoek Septembe29.[5].[6]. in reducing deputy commission Hophni Hamufungu with his people will take measure to try and reduce the higher crime in Eveline street.Windhoek city municipality public relation officer Liz Sibindi has approve of Eveline street as a business corridor.To reduce all this harmful and embarrasment to our society from the tourist that always like to visit every Namibian corner they must seek to reduce liqour selling outlets on residential areas such as Eveline street,clamp down on the supply of alcohol to illegal liquor outlets and restrict hours of trade,this would be to ensure the creation and safer drinking environment of Eveline street resident and visiters.
