  • Various Washington, D.C. Metro pictures postponed indefintely, I had all these images on a USB Flash drive i've misplaced inbetween two houses. That's the only copy I have of them to my knowledge (I may still have them on that camera's CF card). To top that, that drive also holds a fair amount of music, all the other vacation pictures from D.C., and a Knoppix config file.

Personal Info

edit

I am an avid Apple user, and I dual boot between Linux and Windows XP, mostly for gaming and to send/receive data to my PSP, because the USB hubs on my computer are shit. Just like Linuxbeak, I'm against calling it GNU/Linux because Mr. Stallman wants to take credit for Linux, although his own kernel, GNU/HURD has made outstanding progress this past decade.

For the record, I don't think much of the GPL and its restrictive nature, however I will gladly use it and live with it (the GFDL is a-ok with me). I much prefer releasing my projects under the MIT-X11 License, public domain, or any GPL compatible license.

I am aiming towards a career in the gaming industry. Funny how someone who believes in OSS wants in a majorly-capitalist workfield.

I've been using Wikipedia for about a year now, and it's the best website i've ever been to. I rarely edit, but I spend a lot of time in the IRC channel talking about the important aspects of the site. Maybe someday i'll get into creating whole articles on a daily basis, but who knows. I just love the site and its philosophy.
