Mark Jankowski (born September 13, 1994) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre for the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League (NHL). He previously played in the NHL for the Calgary Flames, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Buffalo Sabres. The Flames selected Jankowski in the first round, 21st overall, of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

editOn September 14, 2021, the New Jersey Devils signed Jankowski to a professional tryout contract.[1] He failed to secure a contract with the team during training camp and was released from his tryout in October.[2] On October 15, Jankowski signed a one-year contract with the Rochester Americans, the primary AHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres.[3] He began the 2021–22 season in Rochester, but after recording five goals and 12 points in 13 games, Jankowski signed a one-year, $750,000 contract with the Sabres on November 28.[4]

Nashville Predators (2022–present)

Jankowski returned to the Predators organization for the 2023-24 season on a one-year, $775,000 contract.[5] He was assigned to the Admirals out of training camp,[6] where he recorded three goals and 14 points in 17 games before being called up to Nashville on December 3.[7] Four days later, as Tommy Novak was activated from the injured reserve, Jankowski returned to Milwaukee.[8] There, Jankowski was named the AHL Player of the Month for January, scoring seven goals and 19 points as the Admirals went 11-0 on the month.[9] This performance earned Jankowski another promotion in February, where Brunette hoped he would take a larger offensive role on the Predators.[10]
