Hyde Park on the Hudson is the 2012 move, based on Margaret Suckley’s private journals and diaries discovered after her death, about her love affair with and intimate details about President Franklin D. Roosevelt. It is directed by Roger Michell and written by Richard Nelson.[1][2][3][4]

Plot

The movie is the story of the love affair between FDR and his distant cousin, centered around the weekend in 1939 when the King and Queen of the United Kingdom visited FDR's mother's home in upstate New York.[1][2][3][4]
