Panourgias is the name of a small village located on the north foot of mount Giona. The old name of the village is Dremissa and it is the birth place of Dimitrios Panourgias, military commander in the Greek War of Independence. The inhabitants of the village renamed it in the 20th century to honor him. It is one of the villages in the municipality of Kallieis in Phocis, Greece.
