editPaul F. Crawford is an US academic, writer and historian of the Middle Ages, specialist in the history of the Crusades. He earned a B.A. at Peru State College before studying Medieval history at University of Wisconsin where he got a Ph.D. He then became professor at California University of Pennsylvania.
