Picture of Gefferz

I am a software engineer from Bletchley, UK. I was an early games programmer from around 1978, but took it up full time in 1983. I worked on Oric games, wrote two books about the Dragon 32 and the Oric (which sold badly!), then spent the rest of the decade writing and converting computer games. I worked on the doomed Young ones computer game with John Marshall. I did some conversions for the MSX, the Commodore 64, the Amstrad and the Spectrum. Later I worked on the Atari ST. In the 90's I worked for a company who made various types of "brown goods" - video CD players, Internet set top boxes. After that, and to date, I have been working for a company who work in Broadcasting, basically writing software on an ad-hoc in-a-hurry fashion.
