Geetali Sharma (born April 22, 1987) is an undergraduate student at Georgia State University pursuing a major in Economics and a minor in Statistics.
Biography

editGeetali Sharma was born in New Delhi, India and spent the initial 13 years of her life in the Model Town (Delhi) neighborhood, briefly moving to the Mukherjee Nagar area for a year before relocating to the United States with her family at age 14. After spending four-years in Stockbridge, Georgia living with family and attending high school, she moved to metro Atlanta, Georgia in January 2006 as her second semester at college began. For the past two-and-a-half-years she has been living with roommates while attending college.
Education
editGeetali's education career began at the Playway Nursery School, Kingsway Camp. At age five she started attending St. Xavier's School, Delhi, spending the next nine years (Prep-8th Standard) at an institute she grew to love and respect. Geetali earned her high school diploma from Eagle's Landing High School located in McDonough, Georgia. She also had the privilege of attending the Georgia Governor's Honors Program, as an Executive Management major and a Computers minor, at the Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia during the summer of 2004. She currently attends Georgia State University in downtown Atlanta and is pursuing a major in Economics and a minor in Mathematics.
Family
editGeetali's immediate family resides in Atlanta's suburbs. Her mother is a high school Mathematics teacher and her father works for MetLife. She has a younger brother, Hansag, who will start attending Georgia Institute of Technology, also located in metro Atlanta, in Fall 2008. Geetali's maternal aunt and uncle are also settled in the United States (North Carolina and California, respectively). For the longest time her maternal grandparents were also US residents before relocating to Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India in December 2007. Her extended family from the father's side still resides in India.
