SystemWars.com is a video game website initially created in 2003.
Systemwars.com initially started life as a simple web forum for users who desired an alternative to several existing game sites such as Gamespot and IGN. Both of these sites had started life similarly as private ventures but had become members of larger corporate networks such as CNET in the case of Gamespot.
Systemwars.com quickly grew its board to include 1000 members. In the Summer of 2005 the site was expanded to include a full gaming website. Systemwars features game reviews, news, information, and images, in addition to the original gaming forums. Reviews and news are maintained by select members designated by the Systemwars.com staff as guest writers.
