A particular characteristic of the Gashlicker is the intricate use of "tongue yoga" during consumption of Punani technically known as the "post-gillettus venus butterfly movement".
Gashlickers tend to nourish themselves on a specific badly-packed kebab of Middle Eastern origin called Gashlick that can be prepared using different meats or vegetables, although the Punanimal tribe in general prefers white meat, especially from the Porcella.
When bird-watching, Gashlickers are often seen in the company of Shanks. Favourite locations for shanking operations include Shanklin, Shankhai, Ciankar, Porking, Monte Porco, St Porcosburg and Mussacow.
