GamePlasma was created on June 16th 2003 by Tim Bradshaw with the goal to provide unbiased up-to-date news, reviews, previews and articles that cover the video game industry.[1] It is just one of many sites that are currently under development with the Plasma Branding. Currently scheduled for release, readers can expect to see MoviePlasma, MusicPlasma and SportsPlasma soon.

All of the sites within the network are subsidiaries of Bradshaw-Kimbrel Technology Group, LLC.[2]

Scoring System

edit

Gameplasma's scoring system is based off of 5 criterion:
Gameplay: Storyline control and overall feel.
Graphics: The prettier the game, the better the score, but ingenuity plays an important role.
Sound: Music, Sound effects, Voice chatting, etc.
Value: Is it worth the money; multiplayer aspects, replay value, etc.
Plasmafactor: What makes or breaks the game? This score is the other section that involves what the reviewer sees good or bad about the game.

The final score, which is an average of all five criterion, is a rating from 0-10:
· 10 - An Instant Classic.
· 9.0-9.9 - A Must Own.
· 7.6-8.9 - Genre Greats.
· 6.5-7.5 - Pretty Decent.
· 5.0-6.4 - Eh... Not terrible.
· 4.0-4.9 - Barely Worth The Cost Of Production.
· 3.0-3.9 - An Insult To The Industry.
· 1.0-2.9 - What Were They Thinking??
· 0.0-0.9 - Approach With A HazMat Suit.

Each rating has a witty description to go with it's witty title such Approach With a Hazmat suit's description: "Gameplasma Recommends: We don't
