Blood Records is an independent record label based in the UK. Founded in 2016 by Mat Larman, Blood Records was setup to help aspiring young musicians get into the music industry. By offering expertise in social media, artwork and music production, Blood Records worked with new acts to package themselves properly. Their first act was Franklin, signed in 2016 with moderate success. The band won 2 key competitions, one of which saw them open the land of saints stage at Boardmasters festival in Cornwall. They also had airplay on Radio1 and Virgin radio. In early 2017 they landed the main support slot on The Pigeon Detectives UK Tour and released several tracks through Blood Records.

Blood Records focus is very much a digital approach with Spotify being their main channel for promoting the music. The online streaming allows them to reach a wider audience and allows new listeners to "dip their toes in" [1] to try the band out before making any commitment.

Blood Records have since signed several other acts including Brontë, After Alice, Maurice Amour and Myles Smith. Maurice Amour and Myles Smith (collectively MA X MS) are collaborating on an EP that is produced by Ryan Gorringe who produced and managed High Tyde. [2]
