I'm a big fan of mentorship. I think that it's really helpful to have someone to ask questions to, someone who can symphasize with all the highs and lows of editing!
My mentorship program is quite flexible. Instead of a fixed "curriculum", I can adapt to your needs.
I'm happy to:
- Summarize policy, guidelines and community norms relevant to areas you're interested in editing.
- Provide you with some real-world, practical projects to work on.
- Answer any questions you have, and chat about editing.
- Look over your edits and provide constructive feedback about improving them.
I can guarantee that I'll always fully respond to your questions in a timely manner. If I don't know the answer, I'll ask someone else on behalf of you. When I started editing, a frustration of mine was not getting a response for my queries. I want to make sure this doesn't happen for you!
