  • According to screenwriter Manfred Wong, Raymond Chow asked composer Joseph Koo to compose a small opening theme for the Golden Harvest intro[1]

  • In November 2007, Chow sold his stake in Golden Harvest to Chengtian Entertainment Group[5][6]
  • Following Chengtian's complete takeover, the company renamed itself to Orange Sky Golden Harvest Entertainment Holdings in July 2009[7]
  • In September 2010, Orange Sky Golden Harvest invested $25 million in Legendary Pictures, giving it 3.3% of the latter company's common stock[8][9]
  • Wu: "I think that anybody trying to get into the China market should go to Hong Kong first."[10]
  • The following month, Orange Sky denied a report from The Wall Street Journal that the company was going to finance Village Roadshow[11][12]
  • In August 2011, Andrew Mao became the CEO of Orange Sky; Mao joined the company in May as an executive director and chief financial officer[13]
  • The previous CEO, Kelvin Wu, stepped down to manage Legendary East, a Chinese production company owned by Legendary Pictures
  • In October 2017, Orange Sky bought Village Roadshow's stake in Golden Village to become the Singaporean chain's sole owner[14]
