lkScan - user external link change reporting
This tool accepts a user name and namespace then examines the user edits in the namespace. Two diff pages are retrieved, the "before" and "after" versions of the page the user edited. A simple algorithm then tabulates the external weblinks in the two versions and reports the differences (added xxx, removed yyy).
The tool produces a summary output and also an HTML page suitable for transfer into MS Excel for "slice-and-dice" analysis.
This tool is useful for analysing the insertion of "linkspam" into mainspace articles and possibly also for identification of non-free Image additions.
