Jak Farcove (/dʒæk fɑːrkoʊv/; born July 10, 3495) is the 11th and current President of the Haven Liberation Party. He is the first person to ever be elected through a general election into this office.
Mr. Farcove has spent many years in Haven/Spargan politics. He spent two terms as Master Governor of the Spargan Wastelands, a position comparable to king but without the power to treat the citizens as slaves. Then, while beginning his second term for the Master Governor, Jak was elected to the Haven Council as the Wasteland Senator. However, after just one term in this position and two terms as Master Governor, Jak's two offices were both abolished after the Wasteland Civil War.
However, the end of his office did not phase Jak Farcove in any way. Deciding not to return to the Wasteland for fear of being attacked, Mr. Farcove immediatly began campaigning to be elected to the office of President of the Haven Liberation Party. Winning the office in a landslide, he had a successful first and second term and is now up for re-election for a third term.

Master Governor of the Spargan Wastelands (3515-3520) edit
In 3515, Jak was elected to the position of Master Governor of the Spargan Wastelands, a position of almost complete power in the desert. He was then inaugurated on January 23, 3516 and immediately began lowering taxes for the rich which resulted in the Spargan Recession of 3518. However, while this seemed like an idiotic decision at first, and one that would certainly cost him his re-election, it was actually a cleverly thought-out decision. At the time, the Spargan relationship with Haven City was extremely poor, although the Havenians had nothing against Spargus. Because the Haven government at the time felt sorry for Spargus, they immediately began charities towards the city. This resulted a large increase in the amount of money Spargus had in the treasury. After the Haven Offer of 2519, when Haven transferred over $100,000,000 to Spargus without the need to pay back, Jak raised the taxes of the rich again, eventually ending the recession and leading to a Spargus that was a hundred million dollars richer. This, coupled with the extreme increase in public services that Jak began, guaranteed his re-election. At the same time, he was elected by the Haven Council as the Wasteland Representative in the Council.
Second Term edit
Jak's second term as Master Governor was much less proactive due to his new residence in Haven City because of his position in the High Council. However, he did begin several programs to help health care in the city and to expand Spargus further into the desert.
Dissolution of the Haven Council edit
In 3524, the Haven Council was dissolved by the President of Haven, and was replaced by the High Haven Council and the Lower Haven Council. The High Haven Council did not include anyone from outside the city.
