The Lead (EP) edit

@FormalDude: yeah, it’s a bit to early for help but… on FLO’s debut EP, there’s a title track that should be lowercase because it says that on music articles. but if you check on a music platform, it’s uppercase, should it be lowercase or uppercase? — JuanGLP (talk) 16:14, 4 August 2022 (UTC)

@JuanGLP: In my experience we normally only add a note for letter case differences, typically at the bottom of the track listing. Something that says "stylized in uppercase" for example. ––FormalDude talk 04:02, 7 August 2022 (UTC)

Checking in edit

Hi @JuanGLP, haven't heard from you in a while, just checking in. How's everything going? ––FormalDude (talk) 09:47, 7 September 2022 (UTC)

Hi @FormalDude: Just getting busy over WOW Presents Plus (and a template) with its original programming, and I am helping WikiProject Drag Race (They are really nice and amazing). They are always thankful for helping them. And I have created an article for Taylor Swift's upcoming album. Also, how are you? – JuanGLP (talk) 19:28, 7 September 2022 (UTC)
@JuanGLP: Good stuff! I'm doing well, thanks. Let me know if there's anything I can help with. ––FormalDude (talk) 19:49, 7 September 2022 (UTC)

ArbCom 2022 Elections edit

Hi JuanGLP, hope you're doing well! You should have recently received a message that the 2022 ArbCom elections are now underway. As your mentor, I wanted to reach out and see if you had any questions about it. A lot of users do not participate simply because they don't know who they should vote for or what an Arbitrator even does! You can read an overview of the Arbitration Committee's functions here. If you'd like guidance in participating in the elections, please let me know! ––FormalDude (talk) 04:18, 30 November 2022 (UTC)

@FormalDude: I am doing okay. The election, I have seen the "ArbCom 2022 Elections" going on. Is it like adminship? A democracy? Or something? I checked it out and honestly, I really don't get it. — JuanGLP (talk) 13:38, 30 November 2022 (UTC)
@JuanGLP: It is not really like adminship–arbitrators don't get any additional user rights–though almost every candidate is already an admin. Instead, arbitrators have a seat on the committee that oversees arbitration requests. Arbitration is the final form of dispute resolution and the committee's rulings are binding. Arbitrators are elected by a private ballot for a term of either one or two years depending on the level of support the candidate receives. ––FormalDude (talk) 21:53, 30 November 2022 (UTC)
