About Me
editWhen I lived in Michigan, my parents got a 55 gallon tank and bought a small tiger oscar and a small red-bellied pacu when I was about 5 or 6 years old. At about 7 or 8 years I got addicted to crayfish and stuck with it until I was about 11 years old and switched over to guppies at 12 and started with 5 and ended up with 35. At 13 I gave my guppies to my little sister and got 2 turtles. My littler sister poisoned the guppies and 10 survived. No adults survived. Shortly after we moved we sold our oscar and pacu who grew huge. We put the turtles and the surviving guppies in the 55 gallon tank with only an inch of water. Then we put the tank in the mover. After the long drive to New Mexico 5 guppies survived and both turtles survived. When we arrived we set up the 55 gallon tank with 10 inches of water outside in the shade. I made an area for the turtles to climb out of the water. The guppies "disappeared". I set up an old 10 gallon tank and bought 3 neon tetras, 3 glow light tetras, 1 longfin leopardfish, 1 guppy, and 1 Siamese algae eater. Soon 2 of the 3 neon tetras died. Eventually I built a pond for my turtles and later got 30 mosquito fish and 10 goldfish. 6 of the goldfish were eaten. Later I found mantids outside and bred them. Soon after I setup the 55 gallon tank and took down the 10 gallon tank. I used all of the fish I had in the 10 gallon to cycle the tank. All the tetras died but the other fish survived. I bought 3 angelfish. 1 died of unknown causes. I bought a new angel and it did fine. Currently I have the 55 gallon with 3 angelfish, 1 guppy, 1 longfin leopardfish, 1 snail, and 1 melon sword. In the pond I have turtles, 30 mosquito fish, and a couple goldfish. In the 10 gallon there are 3 marble crayfish. I am thinking of buying an emperor Scorpion
