The 1975–76 season was Manchester City F.C.'s eighty-fourth season of league football, and tenth consecutive season in the Football League First Division. This season is also considered to be the elventh season of the glory era of Manchester City, which started at the appointment of the managerial partnership of Joe Mercer and Malcolm Allison in 1965. In this season, Manchester City won the League Cup for the second and most recent time - it would be the last trophy won during the glory era.
