What Is This Page About?

This is my background. This page talks about my background, mainly of my Wikipedia-related history, but a little bit on personal details and outside life. This page exists plainly for the purpose of talking about my background. Now, enough chit-chat. Lets get to work.

My Background

Now before we dive into anything else, lets get this straight: I'm NOT a long-time Wikipedia user. I have joined quite recently, in fact, just in late 2015. I, though, am already fairly experienced in editing, and have some experience in creating pages and a little in adding posts to talk pages, but little in anything else. I started out mingling around, creating my first page: The Unwanteds (book). I tried a second page on an elementary school but failed, I'm putting the project away for when I'm more experienced. I was invited to the teahouse to talk about it, but I have no experience in there, so I'd preferred to stay away for the time being. Not like it's a bad place. I took a look, and it's actually a nice place!

Then, I took a deep breath and created my third page, Island Of Silence. Success! I now had multiple pages created by me up and running on Wikipedia. But, ever since then, I'd started to edit more, and then now I've temporarily shrunk back into the realm of creating user pages(see a list of them here). I'm not worried, though. Eventually, I'll get back into creating pages, once I can find topics to write about.

Basic info I'm giving out: I am male. I go by the alias Evancahill on Wikipedia. I am interested in wildlife and nature. Done. Period.

Sorry, but I prefer not to take pictures of my friends, family, myself, and my house, and then post those, my address, and other personal info online. That... is kind of foolish. And, besides, this is Wikipedia, not Facebook! :)

I write about nature, mainly, mostly Wildlife. Sometimes, Climate, Geography, Geology, Environment, and Ecology. Occasionally you might catch me writing about literature, music, schools, companies, places(especially Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties), wildfires, history involving World War II or ISIS, people, airports, combat, weapons, or just plain improving articles I have edited, or stub or start-rated articles I stumble upon by clicking "Random article". Usually, though, I'll be writing about wildlife.

I've now written my first page about wildlife: Wildlife of the Channel Islands of California
