Cartoon Network in Taiwan (Chinese: 卡通頻道; pinyin: Kǎtōng píndào) is the Taiwanese version of Cartoon Network. Cartoon Network is created by the company Turner Broadcasting System (TBS) in the United States, and then together Cartoon Network and TBS were merged into one company, Time Warner. It was first launched on October 1, 1992 in the United States, September 1, 1993 in the UK, and September 1st, 1997 in Japan.
Cartoon Network (Taiwan) is a 24-hour channel, dedicated for playing cartoons. The cartoons played are created from different parts of the world, with a majority from the United States and Japan. Taiwan is now using the 3rd version of the logo of Cartoon Network.

1990s edit
Cartoon Network (Taiwan) was launched in 1994 by the Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. At first it was called TNT & Cartoon Network, and it would show movies at night from 9:00pm till 6:00am on the next day.
2000s edit
On 31 August 2008, the format of Cartoon Network's bumpers and commercials changed and also CN changed the name of Cartoon Network Theatre to Cartoon Network Popcorn with the major visual theme being the recurring 'dynamic line' in all the station IDs and bumps etc.
2010s edit
On 1 October 2011, Cartoon Network introduced its new branding and logo. Designed by Brand New School, it makes heavy use of the black and white checkerboard motif, as well as various CMYK color variations and patterns.
