Sometime between 11 pm Thurs. 6/19/2014 and 5:30 am 6/20/2014 up to 20 dogs died while under the care of an Arizona Senators Son.^[1] Initial police response called it an accident, but as details were revealed, Sheriff Joe Arpaio said he would launch an investigation to see if there were any laws violated, if there was criminal intent or animal cruelty invovled.^[2] Before the investigation was completed, the total amount of dogs that died in this tragic event that devastated 17 families rose to 23.
