I am a high school art teacher, artist and Museum Studies grad student. I've always been interested in reading and exploring information, particularly when it is related to art and the ways in which people learn. As of late, I've been researching the differences between formal and informal learning environments, and my experiences in public schools and museums have helped me observe how people respond to information in both settings. In the world of art, I've always been interested in learning more about Abstract Expressionism and I try to stay current on research related to art education. I also have an unrelated yet strong interest in the ocean and am fascinated by marine biology.

The WikiProject Public art Barnstar
I award you this WSPA barnstar for your excellent work on the Indiana Statehouse project. You've made an an excellent set of guidelines for using Flickr to photo document artworks, taken some excellent photos of your artwork, made two very good articles (Calvin Fletcher (Indianapolis) and (Christopher Columbus (Vittori), which was featured on the DYK section of the Main Page), and helped unify all of the "See also" and "External links" section of all of the articles in the categorized the Indiana Statehouse Public Art Collection. For all of this I give you a pooped on barnstar. Congratulations! --RichardMcCoy (talk) 13:10, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
