Bio?!

edit

I'm a student from Portland, Oregon, and I don't know what I want to do with my life. I say that, of course, in the most positive way possible; I prefer to live for the now, as opposed to spending my time worrying about what will come in the future.

I don't have many heroes, honestly. When asked who my 'heroes' are, only two names come to mind: My mother, and Hideto 'hide' Matsumoto. My mother is perhaps a bit clichéd, but still entirely true-- I respect so much the amount of sacrifice that she endured to give me the upbringing that I've had. I'm proud of the person I am today, and I owe a lot of that to my mother.

Matsumoto Hideto-sama, on the other hand, may take a bit more explaining. When I was eleven or twelve years old, I discovered hide's music, and I was entirely inspired by his life and his work. He was an amazing person, if the word 'amazing' can even come close to doing him justice. He came from nothing and changed everything, and he inspires me to be more than what I limit myself to. His death was a huge blow to me, and I still miss him, to this day, though it's nearly nine years since the day that he died.

Beyond that, there's really very little that I can tell you about myself. If you care to, you can contact me at eabettencourt@msn.com, or if you prefer, AIM: xemily emergency.

It's just WikiPedia.

Seriously, you guys. It's just a website, and a website that anyone with a computer can edit, at that. There is really no need to insinuate anything about anyone's 'bad faith' or 'good faith' or whatever you want to throw out there. You don't need to disagree with people just for the sake of disagreeing. Last time I checked, this website was about providing accurate information for everyone, not having some kind of third-grade contest to see who can get the most popularity on WikiPedia.

So what if I don't know everything? I KNOW THAT I DON'T KNOW EVERYTHING. You don't need to point out every little flaw in everyone else's arguments just because they don't support yours. Come on, now, be serious; it's a website, not Armageddon.
