Jon Jafari is an American Youtube personality and filmmaker best known for creating the web series 'JonTron', and co-hosting the Let's Play web series Game Grumps from July 2012 to June 2013. 'JonTron' also sometimes serves as his pseudonym.

Jon's Youtube channel 'JonTronShow' has over 2 million subscribers as of November 2015.

The JonTron web series began in August 2010 with a review of the video game Daikatana inspired by the approach of the videos of James Rolfe.[2] Since then Jon has produced over 30 episodes and has developed his own style. Episodes usually consist of comedic negative reviews of video games, and occasionally movies or TV shows.[3]

Jon co-created Game Grumps with then webseries animator Egoraptor in July 2012, where he served as co-host until June 2013; when he was replaced by Danny Sexbang (Leigh Daniel Avidan) of musical comedy group Ninja Sex Party.

Jon Jafari is a founding member of NormalBoots, a video website and loose collective of gaming video creators founded in 2010. It disbanded in 2012, but was revived in January 2014.

In June 2013, he appeared in the music video 'Let's Get This Terrible Party Started!' by Ninja Sex Party.[4]

Jon is set to appear as a date-able character in the fan-made crowdfunded dating sim Asagao Academy, which raised $26,743 on Kickstarter in November 2014.[5]

In August 2014, Jafari came under fire from fans and outside observers for controversial statements made on Twitter.[6]

In June 2015 Jafari appeared in an episode of the web series Songify the News, produced by The Gregory Brothers.[7]
